Strategic Asset Management > Setup > Base > Severity Code

Use this form to create and maintain a list of severity codes/descriptions that will be used with incident objects, to define the intensity or degree of the objects injury or damage. The severity code is used in combination with the impact type to define the “effect” of the incident.

For example there was a vehicle accident and the severity (degree) of the accident was serious, such as when a driver was fatally injured and the vehicle is a complete write-off.
