This form is used to define which warehouse (defined as a warehouse which can perform maintenance) is doing execution for which organisation. This setup provides the default value which will be used. This setup is also used to define which warehouses can supply which organisations with stock/spares and which warehouses can be identified and used for quarantine of stock/spares that were send back.

Note

Create a process flow for the setup of how the warehouse journal transactions will work to ensure that the setup of warehouses are correct.

Navigating the form

To create a new record press CTRL+N or the new button. The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form:

Warehouse type

This field defines the different type of warehouses where items can be located. The types can be defined as supply = warehouse that supply items, quarantine = warehouse that is used to receive items that are not used or send back, and execution = warehouse that is used for maintenance operation.

Preference

Define a preference order where 0 is the most important. If more than one 0 is defined the first selected will be used.

Warehouse code

Select the warehouse code where the item can be located.

Locality

Select the location in the warehouse from where the stock will be located. (Locality is only used for the execution warehouse).
