The forecast register is used as a pegboard listing all the occurrences of the events that have been forecast. The start and end date of the earliest event meter will be displayed in this section of the pegboard. Applicable organisational and higher assembly information per event is also displayed.

For each scheduled event occurrence all the corresponding multi meter event information is also displayed via the Forecast meter form. From here you can transfer pegboard events to a work order for execution. The Gantt button displays the forecast events in a Gantt chart format.

Edit

Modify the details of the forecast record. When you click this button, the forecast record is switched from read-only mode to modify mode.

Delete

The Gantt button displays the forecasted events in a Gantt chart format.

Create

The Create button function is used to create an individual work order or a single work pack for the selected scheduled event.

Enquiries

Open a menu with the following items:

·  Budget vs Actual calculation - Display a view of budget vs actual calculation data.

·  Budget vs Actual costs - Display a view of budget vs actual costs results data.

·  Budget vs Actual sales - Display a view of budget vs actual sales results data.

Refresh

Refresh the page. (This function is only available in the grid view mode)

Export to Microsoft Excel

The function is used to export selected data to Microsoft Excel. (This function is only available in the grid view mode)

Attachments

View and open the documents that are attached to this forecast record. This includes external documents.

Specific id

Select the applicable specific id from the lookup.

Structure code

This field is the structure position for the object. The code uniquely identifying the position of the item in the structure and is user definable. A Structure code of “0” is automatically allocated by the system for the top (Highest level) of every object.

Event code

A code uniquely identifying the event.

Description

Short description of the forecast record.

Occurrence no

This field is a value defining the planned occurrence number of the specific event for the equipment or object. (This value is system generated).

Rem life ind

If this field is ticked, the indicator identifies the next due occurrence of every event.

Execution id

This field display the result of the creation of the execution for the specific event.

UOM code

This field defines the current location of the object. This information is defaulted from the object structure base.

Forecast meter

This field indicates the value of the generated forecast per calendar or meter.

Start date

This defines the start date for the schedule event.

End date

This defines the end date for the schedule event.

Primary serial

This defines the primary serial number that is setup for the specific object.

Secondary Serial

This defines the secondary serial number that is setup for the specific object.

Detail

Planning organisation

This indicates the organization currently planning this task.

Planning org structure code

The structure position of the planning organisation.

Maintenance organisation

This indicates the organisation responsible for maintaining this task.

Maintenance structure code

Structure position of the maintenance organisation.

End specific

This indicates the top or highest level specific structure where the specific item is installed.

End structure code

The structure position code of the top or highest level specific structure where the specific item is installed.

Parent specific

This indicates the parent or immediate higher level specific structure where the specific item is installed.

Parent structure code

The structure position code of the parent or immediate higher level specific structure where the specific item is installed.

Forecast meter

UOM

This indicates the type of UOM. Available values are meter, calendar and quantity.

UOM code

The UOM code is a user definable code uniquely identifying the UOM.

Remaining meter

Indicates the meter value that still remains from the current meter reading until the event should occur.

Current meter

Indicates the meter value that has passed since the event was done the last time.

Remaining days

The number of days that still remain from today until the event should occur.

Current days

The number of days that have passed since the event was done the last time.
