Fields for Strip Actions

Field name

Sequence

This field defines the sequence of the characteristic action. The sequence number is automatically generated, and is for the event action to identify the order in which the actions should be executed and the order in which the actions will be printed. Some actions may have the same sequence number, because actions can be executed simultaneously. Sequence numbers can be changed to move the execution of actions UP or DOWN.

Group

Select a characteristic group to define a specific group for the characteristics.

Characteristic code

Select a characteristic from the list of available values from the drop down. The field is used to identify the characteristic.

Action Description

A short detailed description of the event action.

Structure Code

This field is the structure position for the object. The code uniquely identifying the position of the item in the structure and is user definable. A Structure code of “0” is automatically allocated by the system for the top (Highest level) of every object.

Action 1

This field define the first action that must be performed on this component. In the event of a strip action the first action must in be selected.

Action 2

This field define the second action that must be performed on this component.

Action 3

This field define the third action that must be performed on this component.

Condition

This field define what condition this component is in.

Condition result

This field define what will happen to a component based on its condition.

Print indicator

If this field is selected the characteristic will be printed when the characteristics are part of a report.

Specific indicator

If Specific Indicator field is selected, this characteristic will be associated with each specific object of the selected type and thus be available for data capturing. If NOT selected, the characteristic is defined for an object only. If this has been set it will be defaulted to the specific, execution or incident.

Mandatory indicator

If selected, feedback is mandatory for this characteristic.

History Indicator

If selected, history information will be kept of all characteristic changes for this object.

Failure

This field will be ticked if a failure should be registered for the event task, and indicates whether this equipment has failed or not.

Event how

This field defines the event how this action must be completed. The how event is an event template with tasks for how to remove/strip this object. This event template should be linked to the object in the object structure under functions > event object. If the event template is linked to the object, then the pre-defined event for the how process of this action will be available in the drop down.

Event repair

This field defines and specifies what must be done to complete this action. Select from pre-defined events the what process for the action. This may include budget cost and resources for the action, and this event templates are linked to the related object that is linked to a selected object structure position in the object structure. If the selected event include costs this event will be included in the quote values if  included in quote indicator, is selected.

Include quote

This field is ticked when a quotation should be generated for this event task.
