Use this form to create and maintain the suppression/triggers of events by defining the event related age between events. Use this to define the ageing parameters for the related event. Ageing parameters are used to measure and record the age of object, for scheduling of maintenance or administration of warranties.

Create an event related age record

1.      Strategic Asset Management > Event > Event Object > Setup > Related Event > Event Related age

2.      The following is an example for event related age form view.

 

3.      Click New button to create a new related event ageing record.

4.      Add UOM by selecting the type of UOM.

5.      Add UOM code by selecting the code for the unit of measure. For example UOM = Meters, UOM code = Km.

6.      Add value of LAG or time/meter lapse between the main event and the triggered event.

7.      Add Negative variance by entering it in days, if the suppressed event is scheduled to occur within the defined variances from the occurrence of the main event it will be suppressed. If it is scheduled to occur outside the defined variances from the main event, it will not be suppressed by the occurrence of the main event.

8.      Add Positive variance by entering it in days, if the suppressed event is scheduled to occur within the defined variances from the occurrence of the main event it will be suppressed. If it is scheduled to occur outside the defined variances from the main event, it will not be suppressed by the occurrence of the main event.

9.      The field event relation will be automatically defaulted from the related event form.

10.  Save the record by pressing CTRL+S.
