Define custom sorting criteria that can be used with different project categories. Sorting criteria are especially helpful when you are defining reports and creating detailed views of data.

Navigating the form

To create a new record press CTRL+N or the new button. The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form:

Fields for filtering options

Project category

Select the project category that defines the functional environment from dropdown list to be used for filtering and tick the box to use option.

The default selection will be the types mostly used.

Sort field value

Select the sorting field value to be used for filtering and tick the box to use option.

Sort Code

This field defines the an unique identification sort code.

Project Category

Select the project category that defines the functional environment for the sorting field value. The category is selected to identify the data for the sorting field. (The following categories are available for sorting – Contract, Warranty, Specific, Failure and Execution records).

Sort Field Value

This field defines the value to be used as a sorting field.

Description

Provide a short description to explain the sorting value and category.

Record Status

Shows the current status of the record. The status can be changed with the Change Status function.
